In some situations I cannot function normally. I thought he might be too hard core to work with someone who needs to slowly rebuild.Now that I’ve had the guts to call him and work out with him, I wish I did it many years ago.I have a large amount of injuries in my body. It pushed me to my limits but with Keys help, I didn’t question that it was within my reach. This trail hike was hands down the most challenging hike I’ve done but easily my most enjoyable. He is funny, entertaining, super motivating, and makes you feel you are in safe hands should any problems arise. This trail was almost 6 miles with more than 1,500 ft elevation, with muddy trails, large boulders, unmaintained tropical brush, streams, waterfalls, and oh so beautiful.Key was the perfect balance of hiking with a friend yet with enough knowledge to share about local vegetation and urban legends. My group was looking to do a more challenging trail so Key recommended Ka’au Crater. I visit the islands annually and have been on many hikes but this experience was unique. Going on a hike in Oahu with Key as our guide was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Hawaii. If you want to get in shape, I highly recommend you contact Ky. I am so happy with Ky’s training that I am going to continue training on line with him after my stay in Oahu. My family is amazed with the progress that I have made when they see the workout videos after each session. I’m able to carry bags up and down the stairs without holding on to the railing. I feel stronger and my balance has increased. Ky has so many different types of equipment so the workouts are never boring. The workouts are so much fun because there is so much variety. Each exercise is personalized to my needs and strengths and he takes videos of them so I can see how I am doing. Ky is also very careful that I have good form so that I do not get injured. I love how he motivates me and makes me confident that I can complete each exercise. I have never trained with a trainer before so Ky started me on some conditioning workouts before my trip and checked on me after each workout, modifying them to suit my level.I have had 5 sessions with Ky in his gym now. He asked me what my goals were and as a senior, I wanted to be functionally fit with a strong core and also have good balance. I knew he would be a very good fit for me. He answered promptly and I was impressed by his knowledge and enthusiasm when talking with him. I first contacted Ky through his website a couple weeks before my one month vacation in Oahu.
